My weber Baby Q grill has a low flame.

Agree with rjmbridge. I called the Weber support people and was told that there is a built in safety feature on the regulator that will cause the flame to burn at a low setting if the gas within the extension tube to the large tank and regulator is not allowed enough time to equalize. They suggested turning on the gas from the tank very slowly, allow about 2 minutes with the temperature control knob turned off, then turn the temp knob on and light. This worked for me.

Having problems lighting baby q grill. have followed all the procedures. I am on my second regulator. i believe I believe that I have inferior regulators.

If you are getting a strong gas flow when you turn on the valves, then it may not be the regulator. If you are using the ingintor to try and light the grill, it could be a bad ingnitor, a bad or loose wire going to the electrode, or the gap between the electrode and the metal maybe to large to create a spark. If you can light it with a match or a manual butane lighter, then it is probably not the regulator.

How to clean cast iron grill - Weber Baby Q Grill

Do not use any chemicals!!! just whipe it off with old newspapers or kitchen absorbent paper and that is all.leftover fat will preserve metal from rusting, next time when you lit it, when it is hot, just splash bit of beer (yes, i do not joke!) on the surface, allow it to run off and then whipe rest off. alcohol and acid in beer will lift old fat and refresh the surface, adding as well flavour to new bake.spray your fat and cook as usual.that is all clening which is required for cast iron plates.if you find my advice helpful, plese do not hesitate to left your opinion and leave 4 (or less...) votes for me, thanx!

Twist it to the left until it unscrews then pull it off. Reverse this to put a new one on. You may have to push it on hard while twisting to get it on.
