Broken piece connecting timer and thermostat

The black, plastic piece that connects the timer shaft to the thermostat is broken (underneath the hood assembly). When fully assembled, the shaft doesn't fit into the broken piece to set timer and thermostat. I just need to know how I can get a new piece. Thank you.

I have a Kenmore grill and when I went to pull the gas tank off to get it refill a tiny plastic circular piece fell out of the connection. When I reconnected it it did not supply gas to the burners. I suspect this plastic ring is the issue. Any ideas?

Yes, it may be the plastic ring, if you didn't reinstall it. However, it could be something else. The gas regulator may be locked up. To solve this problem, do the following : 1. Turn the gas tank valve OFF and disconnect the hose from the tank. 2. Wait 5 minutes and reconnect the hose to the tank. 3. Open the tank valve VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow). 4. Once the tank valve is fully open, light the burner farthest from the tank first and set the burner control knob on HIGH. Does the flame height look correct for being set on HIGH? If so, light the remaining burners the same way. Do all the burner flames look correct? If so, you solved the problem. Remember, to always open the tank valve Very, Very Slowly. If that didn't solve the problem, you will need to replace the grill's Hose/Regulator Assembly. It runs about $30.00 at any home center or hardware store that sells grills & accessories. If you replace it, turn the tank valve ON Very, Very Slowly. Hope this helped you to troubleshoot and solve the problem. Happy Grilling!! Thanks for choosing FixYa.

I have a only used 2x fire and ice. I have everything connected to a large propane tank. i can hear gas when i turn on but it will not light. what do or can i do.

Shut off the propane tank and see if your regulator tube is blocked. If not blocked it could be that one has to have either regulators open to allow the gas to go through and wait for the count of 5 before hitting the ignite button.

Uniflame gtc1205whl I'm not sure if we are missing a part or whatnot but the standard 1lb propane does not connect to the grill burners. The piece from the regulator to the gas chamber in the grill is not sealed. Am I doing this wrong or how can I find the part I need?

Read the owner's manual to find all the pieces. I'm sure you're missing a part

The igniter connection does not have the white cover to the side burner so part of the igniter metal is exposed. When I look at other grills, there is a white couplilng type piece so the igniter wire

It'll be fine...A tiny explosion happens anyway when a grill is lit.. Its just a ceramic fitted piece... Its can still grill..;-) if you replace you'll have to replace the whole ignitor.Have fun grilling....
