The burners are no longer producing as much heat. There seems to b low gas flow. I have cleaned the entire grill interior including the burners. They do not seem to e blocked with any debris.

Turn off your LP gas Tank. Disconnect the hose from the tank. Wait 5 minutes and reattach the hose to the tank. Turn the tank valve on very very slowly, until it's all the way ON. Now, try lighting your burners one at a time and the flame height should be back to normal. Just remember to turn the tank valve on very very slowly each time, after you have turned the tank valve off.It that didn't solve your problem, your gas tank is probably empty. If thats the case, be sure you turn the filled or new tank on very very slowly.Let me know if this helped get you back to grilling.Rich

I have owned the Fire Magic A660 for a year and a half. The main burners have never worked right. Sometimes they light 25% and other times up to 90% but never even. I've adjusted the air, I've cleaned the burners and punched out all holes on the burners. I'm also on my 3rd regulator. Any suggestions? It seems like there is not enough gas pressure going through the burners.

If your using a 20lb grill tank, that may be where the problem lies. All 20lb LP refillable tanks are now equipped with an OPD Valve. It's a safety feature prevents over filling of the tank. However, it can cause problems for gas grills if not turned on properly. If this is what you're using here's what you need to do: Turn off the tank and disconnect the grill hose from it. Wait 5 minutes and reconnect the hose to the tank. Very, very slowly turn the tank valve on. When I say slowly, I mean VERY slowly. Once the valve is fully open, light each burner one at a time and turn them all up to the highest setting. Are all the burners, burning properly? If so, you just solved the problem. Remember to always turn the tank valve very, very slowly when turning it on.If you're not using a propane grill tank and your supply is hard piped from your household supply of propane gas. You may very well have a pressure and gas volume problem, depending on the length & size of the run gas piping. This will have to be determined by your propane provider. But, I can tell you this, if the gas piping is not at least 1/2" OD, that's were your problem lies.If you're using Natural Gas from your household supply. Was the grill properly converted to operate on Natural gas? If it wasn't, that definitely is the problem.Hope this helps you solve your problem. "Happy Grilling."

My middle burner will hardly light. If it lights it quickly goes out. I tried lighting with match and same issue. The plate burner does light. It seems that I am not getting enough gas to the middle burner to stay lit.

At the control panel end of the gas supply lines there are small aluminum collars. these control the air fuel mixture. Look at all three and see if the middle one is not at the same spot. if not it's only held tight by one phillips screw. Match this collar to the others and you may be all set. If not get a piece of broom bristle and see if maybe something has gotten into the feed end to the burner.

Low gas flow - low heat

Hi Lyon,Yeah, it's the regulator. Fortunately, they're cheap and easy to replace! You can look on line for part number 80012. Or you can remove yours and take it to Home Depot or Lowe's in the outdoor cooking area and match up a replacement. <--- they're all the same... just make sure the compression fitting (the brass end) is the same size. The only other thing I could recommend is this... Turn the LP bottle completely off. Then completely remove the big plastic knurled knob from the tank. Now replace the knob back onto the tank (all the way and make sure it's tight). Then S L O W L Y turn the gas back on. Now try your pit. If you get the same flame, it's the regulator. If you get full flame, you just reset the safety device inside the tank. I'm betting regulator. Good luck and happy cookin'!SG

Do this..... turn on just one burner. Once the one burner is lit, turn on a second burner. If the flame in the first burner gets lower, you most likely need to replace your regulator.
