I have a TEC Pattio II. I have owned the grill for almost 10 years and TEC grills have a ten year warranty on many of the parts including the burners. The burners on my grill have a ceramic inserts. The pop and loud whooshing noises indicate the ceramic insert or the seal on the burner is "cracked". I have replaced both of the inserts and burners on my grill once about 5 years ago under warranty. I have one burner now that will not stay burning and I contacted TEC today regarding the problem, and I will replace the ceramic insert only under warranty. . The newest TEC grills like yours have the TEC Radiant Glass Infra-red Cooking System with stainless steel burners with glass surfaces. I assumed this burner system had eliminated the problem of the burners going out with a loud boom or sputtering.YOUR ONLY OPTION IS TO CONTACT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE GROUP AT TEC. THE TELEPHONE NUMBER IS 1-800-331-0097. TEC IS LOCATED IN COLUMBIA SC. TEC HAS A USEFUL WEBSITE.

We seem to be having the same problems as some of the others. Our sons bought this grill for my husband for Father's Day. I came assembled. There is a kink in the hose (the one that has to bend to attach to the center burner. So we are unable to get any gas flow to the grill. We went up to Home Depot with the slip to see if they would give us a new hose that was not kinked. However, every single Brinkman there had a kinked hose. The problem is that the hose it too short. It needs to span too big of a distance and then when it turns the corner to attach to the main central burner, it just kinks preventing gas from getting through. We are now looking for a replacement hose assembly. If we cannot find one, we will return the grill and get a different brand. Do you have any suggestions

Home Depot will not be able to help you with this. You should contact the manufacturer, Nexgrill, directly and see if they have longer gas lines as this seems to be common on this model of grill. There may have been enough complaints that Nexgrill has new lines available. This is also fairly common among all Chinese import grills that like to cut corners on costs.

Gas Not Flowing

Try this. Turn tank off, open all three burners for a minute or 2. Close burners. Open tank very slowly. Open primary burner, (usually the front burner) and try to relight. Should work, but if not check that valve is secured to tank and check for leaks with soapy water.

Why is left burner hotter than the right one? Both burner knobs are turned up all the way. The grill is about 7 years old, stopped using it about 5 years ago (went back to charcoal) and when I restarted it a week ago, (cleaned it also) I remembered that I had this problem then? The back of the inside (back grilling wall area) definitely shows that this has been a problem ( Scorched More)?? Can I take the left burner apart? If is there something in there that I need??

The burners are supposed to be like that. its not a is manufactured by the company in such a way that one of the burner is much hotter then the other(in some models right is hotter and in some models the left one)Here is the example: read the review number 3 on link below:-- tec-infrared-grill.htm"> Still if you strongly feel that there is some issue:-- Remove the grate and clean it inside and check the holes along the sides of the burners. The burners tend to build up cooking residue along the edge and restrict the gas flow. Try an aggressive cleaning of the interior. Thanks. keep updated for any more can rate this solution and show your appreciation.
