Propane hose has a hole

I am trying to find and change the hose from the gill to the propane tank but I cannot figure out how to get the hose off the grill. It does not have a regular screw off connection. HELP! I don't want to buy a new grill just to solve what should be a simple problem.

Replacing hoses and regulator on gas grill

I work for a propane co. I get many customers that bring in their melted or leaking bbq grill hoses and regs. Bring the bad hose/reg to your local propane gas co and see if they can make a custom hose for you. You may have to buy a new regulator to use it with the new hose, but that's better than buying a new grill. Call around first and see which ones can do it. You'll eventually find someone that can fix you up.

My weber Baby Q grill has a low flame.

Agree with rjmbridge. I called the Weber support people and was told that there is a built in safety feature on the regulator that will cause the flame to burn at a low setting if the gas within the extension tube to the large tank and regulator is not allowed enough time to equalize. They suggested turning on the gas from the tank very slowly, allow about 2 minutes with the temperature control knob turned off, then turn the temp knob on and light. This worked for me.

I had my charbroil grill for 2 yrs and I now when I turn on the propane tank and ignite, I hear hissing followed by it lighting then flames proceed to come out the front middle burners. Do I need a new regulator and connecting hose? How would I remove and install this as well?

Before buying anything, look into the burners for spider webs. The webs block gas from getting to the burner and will fire back. This is dangerous. Look carefully where the gas nozzle enters the burner tube. Gary

I am connecting the on/ off valve to the burner, is there a hose that connects inside? I notice there are two holes where propane could escape before getting to the burner. I don't want to blow anything up.

Are these not the air mixing holes for the gas and air to mix +, the air ports on the burner as it comes off the on off control ,on too the burner tubes ?

Propane hose has a hole

Many "old-fashioned" hardware stoves have a ribbed tube that fits inside the hose and a pair of clamps for the outside. Cut the hose where the leak is, put a clamp on each side of the cut, slide the ribbed tube into one side of the cut, push on the other side of the tube, tighten the clamps and you are done. Except for the shopping trip, it should take less than five minutes for the fix and the only tolls you will need ar a knide (or limb pruner) and a screwdriver.

No propane flow to grill using bulk bottle system.

I have a new Coleman Roadtrip LXE. They will not work with a regulator on the suply tank. They work fine off a bottle or a bulk tank, again without a regulator. The regulator on the stove is not adjustable and when it is supplied with 11" wc (low pressure) it futher reduces the pressure so low the flame goes out. I attached mine to my toyhauler quick connect fitting, the gas pressure at the outside valve is regulated at the tank. This won't work, it only works if I hook the bulk tank or 16 oz bottle to the stove.

You may have a blocked/partially blocked gas injector which is a jet supplying gas to the burner.
