Grill wont stay lit

These new tanks have a safety device installed in them . If you open the valve quickly or tip the jug the damn thang won't work. Take the tank loose, open all the grill valves and close all valves. Reconnect the tank and SLOWLY open the valve a hair. Light the burners. No need to open the valve all the way. if you do the dumb safety will plug the jug.

Problem with Rotisserie - Viking Gas Grill

Hi Did it behaved the same way when it was on NG or the issue started after the conersion from NG to Propane. Be certain you are pressing the battery ignition button (T-Series only) corresponding to the burner you are lighting. Open the hood or remove covers. Push and turn the control knob until the “HIGH” position on the knob aligns with the indicator line on the control panel and continue to hold in the knob. Press the electronic ignition button corresponding to the burner being lit. You will hear a clicking sound. After the burner lights, hold in the control knob about 5 seconds longer or until the burner remains lit. Turn the control knob to the desired setting. If the burner does not light in 4 seconds, turn the knob to “OFF” and wait 5 minutes before trying again. This will allow accumulated gas to dissipate. After several failed attempts the burner can be lit with a paper book match using the flash tubes. If you have just attempted to light the burner with the ignitor, allow 5 minutes for any accumulated gas to dissipate. Please see this instructions manual for more details to fix this problem with your viking grill -- Viking Gss Grill VGB (T-Series) Please do accept this solution and revert for further assistance. Thanks Rylee

My weber genesis wont stay lit. i can light the

The new style OPD valves have a small brass ring located in the female fitting on the LP tank. Over time this ring can work loose and then it does not allow the male fitting to fully depress the OPD valve thus reducing your gas flow Using a small flat bladed screw driver tighten the small brass ring This should solve your problemIF not you might want to remove the cap (white) on your regulator and try slowly adjusting the regulator, make small adjustments and try the BBQ My Weber if I set the front and back burners to MED I get right at 350 degrees in 60 degree outdoor temps. Adjusting the regulator will take some time to get it right but If it is not your tank it is most likely your regulator out of adjustment

The smoker burner wont stay lit on my grill. I can get it lit but it wont stay on

I had the same problem and I found that if I tightened the thermocouple line on the back of the smoker control knob it would work properly. You can see the thermocouple line brass nut thru the slotted opening just above the double doors and below the control knobs. Mine was only finger tight and as soon as I tightened the thermocouple line nut, everything worked normal. Good Luck

Gas grill Solution for ''i had just purchased a grill about a month ago and now it wont stay lit flame very low in 1 burner and other burners no flame

Probably 1 of 3 things: Check your LP tank valve at an LP filling station. Make sure both valve and tank are in working order.Next check for webs or cocoons up around where knob valves go into burners. You may have to remove burners to see into back of valves. Then swab orifice holes with a torch tip cleaner.Third, a Menards , LP outfitter/station, or grill shop should have a universal replacement rubber gas line and "regulator"(possibly plugged or stuck shut). Sometimes you end up with cheap/bad regulator out of the factory. Good luck and hope one these helps or does the trick.

I've a Swiss grill with rotisserie burner (infra-red) & it keeps blowing itself out, it stays lit for 5mins then suddenly flames pop out & it goes out, it still sounds as if gas is coming out though.

Almost certainly yes. The infrared grills work by gas and air coming through the surface under pressure. The crack would cause lower pressure and flameout. Does it flame at this area? Beyond the nozzle (towards the burner) that you cleared is an area called the venturi, this is where the gas is mixed with air before it hits the burner. check that for blockages.
