Rotisserie won't stay lit

I bought 4 electric grills by Ducane the model is "take it or leave it" after continuous use of the grills of about 6 months the electrical connection and the heating elements were burned and i cant find the parts i need for this model of Ducane , I can't call the company it self to ask for assistance because they have subcontracted all parts and services to other companies and these companies that I have called they don't carry any parts for the electric grills only gas . If any one can help me i would appreciate it a lot as I depend on these grills for my part time work. Thanks in advance Emmaniuel

None of my igniters on my 30400043 Ducane grill will light the burners. I've had a grease fire due to the burners rusting out and replaced the burners. The insulation on the wires to the igniters has burned off. Do I need to buy a whole new manifold or is there replacements for the igniters? Do the clickers go bad? I'm very disappointed. I bought this grill 3 years ago thinking it's the last I'd have to buy and here I am replacing parts 3 years later. I also don't think the infra red elements are getting hot enough. When running they can be blown out. I don't use them often and have run it for 45 min or so and got a steady flame. I'll try the rotisserie tomorrow. It'd be a shame to waste a good piece of meat. Anyone else having these problems? Got solutions?

As I tell customers, when they ask me, "How long will this grill last?" "That depends on well you take care of it with routine maintenance and cleaning."The wiring for the electronic ignition and the spark ignitors are replaceable. The ignitor button or the "clicker" as you called is replaceable. But all you may to do, is change the battery inside the igniter button. To help you further, i have included a link to the Owner's Manual for your grill. It will have an exploded view of the parts, which should help you identify them by part number and order them from Ducane, if you like.http://help.weber.com/manuals/ducane/2008%20Manuals%20pdf/20529916_030308.pdfA far as the infrared burners are concerned, they blow out easily if the wind is just blowing slightly. That's why they have a thermocouple on the burner, to turn the gas off to it, when it gets blown out. When preheating an infrared burner, the hood/lid of the grill should be closed.I hope this helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

Only enough gas flow for 1 of 3 burners

Shut off the tank and remove it from the grill. open all valves. close all valves. Reconnect tank to cooker and SLOWLY open the valve a hair. Then retry.Something in the dang newer safety tanks cause this phenom.

Doesn't seem to be enough gas going into the

Hi am welcome to FixYa. I am Kelly. 1. Does the LPG tank have gas in it? 2. Is it one gas control or more that gives you this symptom? If it is more than one and there is gas in the LPG tank then the LPG regulator can be the problem.3. There can be debris on the face of the gas orifice where the burner mates to to the gas control selector assy. (Spider webs / grease /dirt) 4. The air hole in the burner can be partially blocked with something (same as above Grease, dirt, cob webs) 5. The holes in the burner itself can be corroded or blocked with something. (This one would be pretty obvious) 6. The gas valve 'heat control may not be functioning properly.7. There is a very remote possibility that the LPG hose has collapsed. I would check the orifice and the burner holes for obstructions after verifying the LPG tank is usable. Then the next suspect would be the LPG regulator. Thanks for using FixYa, Kelly

Propane Problems My grill uses propane bottles. It is new and worked fine through the first bottle. After I replaced the initial bottle, gas was slow coming out and would not get hot. Then I had no flame. Second bottle was definitely not empty. Bought another bottle (third) thinking I need a spare anyway. This bottle worked the first time. Now, it too is not getting enough gas. My suspicion is that I may have slightly damaged (stripped) ventilator gasket. What do you suggest?

The salesman at ACE Hardware told me I needed a grill tip cleaner. Seems the outflow valve from the tank can get crusted and there is a device called a gril tip cleaner that can help restore the gas flow to a higher level.

Natural gas to LP

It sounds like a pressure problem. Try checking to see if a valve or regulator may be clogged. Some times a valve or regulator or event he line it self may have spider webs or spider nest inside the line and that will block the flow.

I can not get any gas pressure in main burners or side burner, i have a new propane tank, just a trickle of gas not even enough to keep side burner going when only using side burner, will only produce a small flame in right rear corner of main burners, none of the 4 burners will light and you can hear gas

Look for spider webs in the venturi tubes, check the orfices or it could be faulty controls. Verify the tank working properly by trying on another grill.Eric
