My weber Baby Q grill has a low flame.

Agree with rjmbridge. I called the Weber support people and was told that there is a built in safety feature on the regulator that will cause the flame to burn at a low setting if the gas within the extension tube to the large tank and regulator is not allowed enough time to equalize. They suggested turning on the gas from the tank very slowly, allow about 2 minutes with the temperature control knob turned off, then turn the temp knob on and light. This worked for me.

Cannot get good flame on the burner of my baby weber grill. I've tried cleaning it checked hose, tank, regulator, seems to have good flow, but low flame only, even when set in high????????

I had this problem with a brand new grill so it wasn't grease in the hose. Due to the new propane regulators you have to turn the propane tank on for at least a minute before turning the grill to light. Let the tank sit in the light position for five seconds and then you light the grill. This will keep air from getting into the intake hose and will keep your gas flame roaring high. I was only able to get the grill up to 250 degrees before I found this fix posted on the Weber site. It is listed as the number one solution in the FAQ section.

Low flame on burner...

Remove the burner and check the flexible tubes for kinks or blockages. The flexible tubes usually just slip over the backs of the valves. Spiders love to get in there and block them. Also check that the holes in the burners are not clogged. Be careful when reseating the flexible tubes to be sure that they are properly seated on the back of the valves. Failure to properly seat the flexible tubes can cause leakage there, and the gas can ignite at the back of the valves and not reach the burner. Be certain that the replacement burner is designed to use with your grill and the flexible tubes mate properly with the back of the valves.

Low and intermittent flame of weber Q 220

You can try replacing the regulator to cure the gas flow problem, I believe the ignition is a piezo, if it does not click when you push it or turn it, it most likely needs to be replaced. If it still clicks, then there could be a bad wire or electrode.

Low gas flow - low heat

Hi Lyon,Yeah, it's the regulator. Fortunately, they're cheap and easy to replace! You can look on line for part number 80012. Or you can remove yours and take it to Home Depot or Lowe's in the outdoor cooking area and match up a replacement. <--- they're all the same... just make sure the compression fitting (the brass end) is the same size. The only other thing I could recommend is this... Turn the LP bottle completely off. Then completely remove the big plastic knurled knob from the tank. Now replace the knob back onto the tank (all the way and make sure it's tight). Then S L O W L Y turn the gas back on. Now try your pit. If you get the same flame, it's the regulator. If you get full flame, you just reset the safety device inside the tank. I'm betting regulator. Good luck and happy cookin'!SG

One burner has low flame

Try looking for webs back to where the burner tube meets the valve. Otherwise you need to remove burner tube to access back of valve to clean with a torch tip cleaner or compressed air, (remember to disconnect grill from gas source first) inside valve orifice.  Usually the back of valve can be removed with a wrench. Worst case you always get a new valve off internet if you can't resolve the plug. Hope this helps, good luck.

Low flame On my Weber gas Go-Anywhere grill the propane seems to be coming out very slowly. The flame is very small, even when turned on high, and only on the end opposite the propane tank and regulator. Should I replace the regulator, the tube, both, or get a new grill? Thanks

This problem most likely is with your regulator. if you decide to replace it please make sure you get the right size replacement. Some salespeople dont know the difference there are four common sizes from class 1 to class 4. If you take the old one with you make sure you match the numbers up with a new one. Hope this helps You please rate me.
