5burner propane gas island bbq with side burner and, kaggerator.the problem is when I start the bbq my flame goes out or,is very low.I've replaced the regulator and cleaned everything.does regulator size matter?
If the hoses from the grill fit the regulator it’s the correct size. Based on what actions you taken already, listed actions to continue to trouble shoot the problem.
1) Check for a leak with soapy water, a leak in the gas supply could cause the OPD safety device to trigger.
2) Re-set the regulator, turn off the gas at the tank, disconnect the hose from the tank, open the lid on the grill, open the burner valves to high for several minutes, turn the burner valves to the off position, re-connect the tank, slowly open the valve until fully opened, try relighting burners.
3) It may be a bad tank, either mechanically at the valve or the propane may be bad
Install another tank to confirm.
I feel quite sure it’s either a pressure problem or bad propane.
I’m assuming your tank has propane in it and isn’t empty. Read More At : Signature S3000e 5 Burner...
