These cylinders seal themselves, just remove it by unscrewing it. Never store grill with cylinder still attached, then it could leak out leaving you an empty bottle or worst, exploding if near an ignition source.

I feel like I have a propane leak. The temperature guage doesnt entirely shut off even when I go turn the grill off so there is no propane the next time. I tried unscrewing the propane tank which did shut off the thermostat but all the propane still seemed to be gone for the next grill.

Use Teflon tape on all your fittings! If that doesnt work the check that valve gauge

No propane flow to grill using bulk bottle system.

I have a new Coleman Roadtrip LXE. They will not work with a regulator on the suply tank. They work fine off a bottle or a bulk tank, again without a regulator. The regulator on the stove is not adjustable and when it is supplied with 11" wc (low pressure) it futher reduces the pressure so low the flame goes out. I attached mine to my toyhauler quick connect fitting, the gas pressure at the outside valve is regulated at the tank. This won't work, it only works if I hook the bulk tank or 16 oz bottle to the stove.

I have a full propane gas cylinder for my grill in my garage. It is very cold in the garage and I'm getting a propane smell. Does the cold effect this or is there probably another problem?

Cold shouldn't present any special hazard to a propane cylinder. Just make sure the valve is fully off. You can check for leaking with a little soapy water solution around the valve - look for bubbles. If any doubt, remove from enclosed space.
