Weber Summit Grill Igniters

All three igniters on my 6-burner grill are not working. There is no spark when the igniter button is depressed. Could it be all three need replacing or am I facing a different problem? Currently I remove the grates and light with a gas lighter.

Weber Genesis Gold B Grill Problem

Could be partially clogged burner openings (jets). Remove the cooking grates and the flavorizer bars. Obtain a BRASS brush (like used to clean white-wall tires) and brush the burner tubes from side to side and up and down along their entire length to remove all corrosion from the jets. Also the cross-over tube. Before replacing the flavorizer bars and cooking grates, ignite all burner tubes and check to see the flames are all of about equal length and intensity. If this isn't the problem, check the screens at the right-side ends of the burner tubes to be sure they're not clogged. If the burner tubes are all clean and some don't ever ignite, the problem could be in the valves/manifold.

How do I remove burner tubes on summit gold - Weber Summit Gold D6 (NG) Grill

The burner ends (the tips farthest from you) are either held in place with a sheet metal screw or the tip fits it a small slot. Either way, removing the burners is the same. If it has a sheet metal screw - remove the screw and lift the burner up and toward the back of the grill. While lifting the burner, pull if away from the front of the grill, so that it slides off the the venturi valve and the burner will lift out. That's about all there is to it. To help you further, I have included a link to your Owners Manual, that you can download and print for future reference. Grilling!!
