Twist it to the left until it unscrews then pull it off. Reverse this to put a new one on. You may have to push it on hard while twisting to get it on.

I use the small propane tanks. I had a brand new tank and after one use, I noticed the tank was empty. I put another new tank on and the next day could smell gas. So it appears I have a gas leak or something. Trying to fix the problem, I removed the ignition assembly and now can't get that back on either as there is a bracket that is difficult to line up while being able to insert the fitting. Any help much appreciated as far as how to put the assembly back on and also how to fix the gas leak.

You need an extra set of hands for the ignition assembly. The gas leak is probably in the tank connection assembly. The plastic fitting may be cracked. Unfortunately, you're the third person I have had in 5 days, that has had a leak in their Weber Q100. The last time I checked for someone, the gas tank fitting/holder was out of stock. No available date was listed. You may want to convert it to take a 20 Lb LPG Grill tank. Ironically, that conversion part is available.Hope this helped you with the leaking situation and I wasn't kidding about an extra set of hands.

It won't put out enough gas to cook. Can only use one burner at a time because it will not put out enough gas volume or pressure to burn more than one. And that one has to be on high in order to get enough flame to cook as if it were on low. I've changed the regulator, the gas bottle( several times) and blew air through the lines to be sure the lines and the burners were not obstructed. What would be your next suggestion. Because for what I paid for this unit and the very few times I have been able to use it without cussing and trying to figure out why it can't do something as simple as blow gas through a line, I think someone should be replacing it with something else comparable. That would my suggestion. Because I love to grill out and feel sick everytime I look at $700.00 worth of new junk sitting there unusable.

Many newer grills have a safety feature built in where the valve will not allow gas to flow if the burner valve is in ON position when the valve on the tank is opened. Try this - Shut of all valves, disconnect and then re-connect hose to tank, turn on valve above LP tank, THEN turn on burner valve, light w/ spark or match... This feature can be really frustrating if you don't know it is in operation...

Kenmore LPG Grill Model 141.16313800 I last used this grill 2 weeks ago and there are no problems. Yesterday I tried to use it but I can't light the grill. So I replaced the propane tank (the old one feels like it's not empty). After trouble shooting as per manual, the grill still fails to operate. The burners are not plugged. New battery installed for the ignitor and they spark when checked. Already purged air from the gas line. When I check if there are any obstruction in the gas line, I did not smell the LPG before I reconnect it to the grill. Please help. Many thanks!

Relace your propane regulator, they do go bad form sitting around, had the same problem you have. you should be able to disconnect from the grill, turn on the regulator and smell the propane, if not it's bad.

Low flame I have a Frigidaire 4 burner LP gas grill that does not get hot past the low end of the "Grill" meter when all 4 burners are on. When all burner are turned to high you barely see any flame. When I turn on any 1 of the 4 burners you at least see a flame better than before but still not good. The unit is sealed other than looking at the burners. I have tried the following: 1 Looked for a kink in the hose 2 Check the gas tank (put a new one in also) 3 Cleaned the gas lines

I have a Dukane Stainless Gas Grill (Five Burners, a Rotisserie and Stove top). It worked fine for three years. Now, I am not able to light more than one burner (of the five). When I go to put the second burner on, the first one goes out. I changed the propane tank to a new full one and still have the same problem. Is there something I have to clean out?

It's possible you may need a new regulator, but usually this problem is due to opening the propane tank valve too fast, which can cause the built-in excess flow valve to check closed to only a trickle. Next time you use the grill, very slowly open the tank valve and see if that solves it. If not, replace the regulator. Douglas

I have a brinkmann gas grill i just put new burners in it now i cant get but one burner lit at a time i light one and then light another and the first one goes out the flame is also very low??

Turn burner control knobs to "OFF", turn off the cylinder valve and disconnect regulator from LP gas tank.Wait approximately two minutes. 2. Reattach regulator and slowly turn cylinder valve back on. The flow limiting device will now be reset. If this does not work either one of the venturi valves is not connected properly or your will need to just replace the lp regulator if the above reset does not work please feel free to ask any ?? Also please rate me on my help thank

Where do ignition wires go?

The loop type connection that you are referring to is probably what they call a ring lug and that should be bonded to the grill frame.. The other wire goes directly onto the ignitor and when you push the button, yo develop a spark from the ignitor electrode to the grounded part of the gas burner.. that is near the gas jet.. Hope that helps
