Never bang on a propane valve for ANY reason...ever. a NEW tank is just too easy to get ahold of. For 29 ro 30 bucks, you can get a full tank at many grocery stores. WAY cheaper than a trip to the hospital or worse. Jeff

Two of the valve on/off handles are partially melted due to too much gas leaks below them that caused excessive flames to shoot up around them. How do we fix this problem? Also need to order two new control handles for the melted ones. Thanks.

Control handles try bbq centre in calgary they are on line , you must have a loose connection under the controls try some soapy water on the controls to find where they are leaking brush it on. It could be the controls are loose and you can tighten the screws on them .
